The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia for Friday, May 9. Thus, the rate is 41.51 UAH per dollar, which means that the hryvnia has weakened by 7 kopecks compared to the previous figure.

At the same time, the exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro for the same date has been set at 46.89 UAH per euro. This indicates that the hryvnia has strengthened its position and appreciated by 18 kopecks against the European currency.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 16:00, the quotes for the hryvnia against the dollar were 41.53/41.56 UAH/USD, while the euro was quoted at 46.92/47.94 UAH/euro.
