Dollar Exchange Rate in Ukrainian Exchange Offices Rises Sharply to 41.6 Hryvnias

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Ukrainian exchange offices has significantly increased. As of midday on August 21, the average quotes were 41.3 hryvnias for buying and 41.6 hryvnias for selling. Compared to the previous day, this represents an increase of 34 kopecks for buying and 4 kopecks for selling.

Changes in the dollar exchange rate have also been recorded in Ukrainian banks, although not as sharp as in exchange points. The average rate in banks was 41.12 hryvnias for buying and 41.6 hryvnias for selling. This is 1 kopeck less for buying and 3 kopecks less for selling compared to the previous day.

Dollar Rates in Leading Banks

Major financial institutions have set their dollar selling rates within the range of 41.49–41.7 UAH. In particular:

  • Raiffeisen Bank – 41.49 UAH
  • PUMB – 41.7 UAH
  • Sense Bank – 41.59 UAH
  • UkrSibbank – 41.65 UAH
  • TAScombank – 41.65 UAH
  • Abank – 41.7 UAH
  • ProCredit Bank – 41.65 UAH

Regarding dollar purchases, banks offer rates ranging from 40.9 to 41.12 hryvnias. In particular, PrivatBank buys dollars at 40.9 UAH, Raiffeisen Bank at 41.12 UAH, PUMB at 41.1 UAH, Sense Bank at 41.15 UAH, UkrSibbank at 41.05 UAH, TAScombank at 41 UAH, Abank at 41.1 UAH, and ProCredit Bank at 41.05 UAH.
