Dollar Exchange Rate in Ukraine Slows Down: Current Figures as of June 4

The National Bank of Ukraine has set a new official dollar exchange rate for June 4, 2025. According to updated data, the American currency is priced at 41.6385 hryvnias per dollar, which is 2 kopecks higher than the previous day. Thus, for the second consecutive day, there is an increase in the dollar exchange rate, although the growth rate has slowed down.

Situation with Currency Rates on the Interbank and Cash Markets

On the interbank currency market, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 10 kopecks compared to the previous day. Today, the American currency was bought and sold within the range of 41.56–41.59 hryvnias per dollar. Meanwhile, on the cash market, the dollar has risen by 5 kopecks, reaching a level of 41.8 hryvnias.

As for the euro, the official exchange rate has decreased by 7.7 kopecks and currently stands at 47.4263 hryvnias per one euro. On the cash market, the purchase price of the euro is 47.1 hryvnias, while the selling price is 47.6 hryvnias.

Currency Dynamics and Trends

Fluctuations in currency rates on the Ukrainian market reflect current macroeconomic trends and the financial sector’s response to global events. Market participants note that despite a slight increase in the official dollar exchange rate, its growth is moderate, and even a decrease is observed on the interbank market.

The dollar has risen for the second consecutive day, but its growth has simultaneously slowed down, according to data from the regulator’s website.

It is worth noting that changes in the currency market have significant implications for importers, exporters, and ordinary Ukrainians who use currency services from banks and exchange offices.
