The State Statistics Service of Ukraine has resumed its monthly publication of information regarding salaries in the regions of the country. According to data for July 2025, the average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine was 26,499 UAH before taxes.

Salary Situation in Kyiv and Regions
In the capital, the highest income level among the regions of Ukraine has been recorded: in Kyiv, the average salary in July reached 40,546 UAH. This is almost one and a half times higher than the national average, making Kyiv the undisputed leader in wage levels.
Significant salary growth has also been observed compared to the beginning of the year. In the first quarter of 2025, the average salary in Ukraine was 23,460 UAH, and over a few months, this figure increased by 24.1%.
Leaders and Laggards Among Ukraine’s Regions
Besides Kyiv, the Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions also demonstrate high salary levels. In particular, the average salary in Luhansk region in July was 34,553 UAH, while in Dnipropetrovsk it was 27,413 UAH.
At the same time, the lowest earnings are found among workers in Chernivtsi region — 19,202 UAH (which is 72% of the national average), in Kirovohrad region — 19,522 UAH (74%), and in Ternopil region — 19,920 UAH (75%).

Thus, the statistics confirm the trend of increasing incomes for Ukrainians, but at the same time, they demonstrate significant regional disparities in wage levels.
