New Decisions of the Appeals Instance

The court modified the verdict regarding the main punishment, civil claim, and procedural costs. According to the new decision, Yevhen Dykhne has been sentenced to four years of imprisonment, while Olena Levochko has received a three-year prison sentence. In addition, both convicted individuals are jointly liable to pay damages amounting to 1,334,157.71 hryvnias in favor of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

Possibility of Cassation Appeal

The decision of the appeals court takes effect from the moment it is announced. However, it can be appealed in cassation directly to the Supreme Court within three months.

It is worth recalling that in 2023, Yevhen Dykhne and Olena Levochko were found guilty of abusing their official positions, which resulted in losses to the state amounting to 15.7 million hryvnias. At that time, the court sentenced the former airport head to five years of imprisonment and a fine of 8,500 hryvnias, while the head of the leasing relations department received a four-year prison sentence with the same fine.
