В яких регіонах найгірша ситуація зі світлом сьогодні

Russia continues to strike critical energy and gas infrastructure in Ukraine, leading to serious power supply disruptions in several regions of the country. In particular, last night, energy facilities in the Odesa and Poltava regions were again attacked, resulting in some consumers being left without electricity.

Restoration of Power Supply and the Difficult Situation in Frontline Regions

According to Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Vyazovchenko, energy workers have already managed to restore power supply for some consumers. However, repair crews are still working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. The situation remains particularly difficult in the frontline regions – Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. There, due to constant shelling, the restoration of power supply is complicated, and the risks for energy sector workers are extremely high.

“The worst part is that the execution of restoration work in several regions is complicated by the high level of risk for energy workers. Our energy workers are also a priority target for the enemy,” noted Vyazovchenko.

Threats to Gas Infrastructure and Plans for Gas Imports

In addition to damage to the power grid, Russia continues its massive attacks on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure. In this regard, the issue of attracting additional funds to increase the volume of natural gas imports is currently being considered. However, the specific amount of funding and the volumes of future gas purchases have not yet been clarified by the Ministry of Energy.
