From April 28 to 29, 2025, the first Unchained Summit, organized by Aeternum, took place at the Kempinski Central Avenue hotel in Dubai. The event gathered over 500 participants from more than 40 countries and 75 speakers, including entrepreneurs, investors, developers, and representatives from government entities. This allowed the summit to establish itself as a progressive platform in the world of cryptocurrency events.

Participants discussed relevant topics such as Web3, blockchain, DePIN, tokenization of real assets, institutional adoption of crypto assets, and scalability challenges. According to EigenLayer CEO Shriram Kannan, “events like the Unchained Summit play a crucial role in fostering the development of a true community within the ecosystem.” Speakers at the event included representatives from well-known companies such as CertiK, PayPal, Franklin Templeton, Animoca Brands, OKX, and others.
The informal part of the event was also rich, including VIP parties and networking sessions, allowing participants to discuss potential deals and partnerships. Co-founder of Mysten Labs & Sui Kostas Halkias noted, “The discussions that follow such events can sometimes be even more important than the presentations themselves.” Fireblocks’ Chief Legal Officer Jason Allegrante emphasized that real deals were made at the summit, and participants had the opportunity to establish new business connections.
Future Plans
The organizers announced that the next Unchained summits will take place in Dubai from October 30 to 31 and in Bangalore from December 5 to 6, 2025. These events will continue to focus on integrating Web3 with the real economy and building an inclusive financial ecosystem. Aeternum CEO Sharat Kumar remarked that “Dubai has become the perfect backdrop for launching this movement,” highlighting the active participation of people at the event.
