Housing Support in Key Regions
In Kharkiv, a municipal program is in place aimed at developing the affordable housing market by 2030. The main focus is on expanding opportunities for housing acquisition through municipal tools and active participation in the construction of new facilities. This creates a long-term model for providing the population with quality and affordable housing.
In the Kherson region, a youth housing loan development program has been launched in the city of Oleshky, which will operate until 2026. Its main goal is to provide young people with affordable financial instruments for purchasing their own housing.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, housing policy is integrated into comprehensive programs for youth policy and sports development for 2022–2026. Additionally, a special program for youth has been implemented in the region, which includes long-term support and financing mechanisms to facilitate access to their own housing.
Extensive Programs and Multilevel Support
The Cherkasy region stands out with a wide network of housing initiatives that cover both youth and combat participants. At the regional level, there is a program to provide housing for young people until 2027, as well as a separate support direction for military personnel and their families until 2030. In the cities of the region, additional youth loan programs and preferential housing provision for veterans are being implemented.
In the Chernivtsi region, housing policy is based on a combination of regional and municipal programs aimed at expanding youth access to housing through financial instruments and local initiatives.
In the Chernihiv region, urban programs for youth housing loans and housing provision have been introduced, which are planned until 2028. Additionally, a long-term housing loan development program is being implemented at the regional level until 2030, contributing to the formation of a unified regional policy in this area.
