Popular Models Among Ukrainian Buyers
Among private buyers, crossovers hold the absolute lead. The leader in this segment remains the Toyota RAV4, which is the most frequently chosen model. The top five most popular models also include Hyundai Tucson, Renault Duster, Volkswagen Touareg, and Mazda CX-5.
The corporate sector prefers practical vehicles suitable for daily use. Among companies, the Renault Duster is in the highest demand. Additionally, legal entities are actively purchasing Volkswagen Touareg, Renault Taliant, Škoda Octavia, and Toyota RAV4.
Taxation Features of Vehicle Transactions
It is worth noting that in Ukraine, the taxation of income from the sale or exchange of vehicles is regulated by Article 173 of the Tax Code. The legislation stipulates that the amount of tax obligations depends on the number of transactions conducted by an individual during the calendar year.
