The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially confirmed strikes on key industrial facilities within the territory of the Russian Federation. Details of the Strike on Enemy Strategic Facilities
FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles were used in the attack on “Promsintez”. This enterprise plays a crucial role in the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, producing over 30,000 tons of military-grade explosives annually. In particular, these components are used for equipping bombs and missiles employed by the Russian army.
“The damage to the facility has been confirmed, with subsequent explosions in the production area. The extent of the damage to this important strategic facility of the Russian aggressor’s military-industrial complex is being clarified,” the General Staff stated.
Additionally, the strike on another strategic facility—the “Yaroslavl” oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region—has been confirmed. A direct hit was recorded on the premises of the enterprise, leading to a large-scale fire. It is noted that this oil refinery is one of the key facilities for the Russian oil industry, with an annual processing capacity of about 15 million tons of oil. The products of the refinery—gasoline, diesel, jet fuel—are critically important for ensuring the logistics of the Russian army. The extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
Attacks on Other Facilities and the Situation in Occupied Territories
Earlier, Russian officials reported a series of drone attacks in the Samara and Yaroslavl regions. Monitoring resources recorded explosions near the “Promsintez” and “Polymer” factories in Chapayevsk, as well as an attack on the “Slavneft-YANOS” oil refinery in Yaroslavl.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported strikes on several important facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine over the past day. This includes fuel and lubricants depots near occupied Donetsk, ammunition warehouses near Mangush and Hliboke, as well as a repair unit in the Prokhorivka area in occupied Donetsk. In occupied Kherson region, a UAV control point near Nova Kakhovka and a command-observation post of the Russian army near Lyubimivka were destroyed.
Furthermore, a concentration area of personnel in the Sicheniv area of Dnipropetrovsk region, a material and technical resources depot near Mizhhirya in temporarily occupied Crimea, and a fuel and lubricants storage site on enemy territory near Unecha in Bryansk region were also hit.
According to the staff’s observations, as of Saturday morning, fires continue at the “NOVATEK-Ust-Luga” oil refinery and the “Transneft-port Primorsk” oil terminal in Leningrad region.
The Russian military command has not reported strikes on facilities in the occupied territories. There is currently no independent verification of this information.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, facilities on its territory have repeatedly suffered air attacks. In 2024 and 2025, the main targets were oil refineries and military infrastructure facilities both in Russia and in occupied Ukrainian territories.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirms most of these attacks, emphasizing that the Defense Forces of Ukraine “systematically implement measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces, as well as compelling the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.”
