Support and Rapid Connection of Energy Capacities

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the received equipment is intended for backup power supply to communities, hospitals, and essential facilities, which is particularly important in areas with unstable electricity supply. The total capacity of the provided equipment already exceeds 145 MW.

Currently, energy equipment is on its way to Ukraine from Azerbaijan, Estonia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Slovakia, France, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, and Japan. This will significantly enhance energy security and provide backup power sources for critical infrastructure facilities.

Government Actions to Accelerate the Process

Thanks to government initiatives, the customs clearance and logistics procedures for new equipment have been significantly simplified. These steps facilitate the prompt installation and connection of equipment in regions that are most in need of energy support.

“The government is providing the necessary logistical support, simplifying regulatory customs procedures for imported equipment, and facilitating the rapid connection of the equipment. We expect communities to install and connect quickly,” emphasized Svyrydenko.
