“Damage to the tank farm with a subsequent fire on the premises of the facility has been recorded. In addition, the Hvardiyiska fuel depot in temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea has been hit.”

The General Staff emphasized that such strikes significantly limit Russia’s capabilities to supply fuel to the units of the Russian army.

Damage to Ships and Ammunition Depots

The military command also reported damage to two large landing ships near occupied Sevastopol, where the extent of the damage is currently being clarified. Additionally, the destruction of ammunition depots in the areas of Urzuf (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region) and Loknya (Belgorod region of Russia) has been confirmed. A drone storage facility in the area of Nova Karakuba and an enemy command and observation post near the settlement of Blahodatne in Donetsk region were also hit. Data on losses and the scale of destruction are being clarified.

Local residents of the annexed Sevastopol reported sounds of intense machine-gun fire and explosions from anti-aircraft artillery, especially in the area of the Russian military airfield “Belbek.”

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that during the night of April 20, air defense forces allegedly shot down 112 Ukrainian drones in various regions of Russia, including Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk regions, occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, regular airstrikes have been carried out on various strategic facilities in Russia, including oil refineries, which became primary targets for attacks in 2024–2025. Strikes on military facilities of the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were also frequent.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has repeatedly emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces and forcing the Russian Federation to cease its aggression against Ukraine.
