In 2025, the manufacturing industry became the leading sector in terms of tax payments to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine. The contribution of this sector amounted to 367.5 billion UAH, which represents 18% of all tax revenues in the country.

Significant Increase in Tax Revenues
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, compared to 2024, tax revenues from the manufacturing industry increased by 70.2 billion UAH. This increase was the largest among all sectors of the economy in absolute terms.
“Compared to 2024, tax revenues from the sector increased by 70.2 billion UAH, which is the largest increase in absolute terms among all sectors of the economy.”
Leaders Among Manufacturing Sectors
The top five sectors of the manufacturing industry that demonstrated the highest growth in tax revenues included:
- Manufacturing of vehicles (excluding road vehicles) — tax increase of 6.73 billion UAH;
- Manufacturing of industrial machinery and equipment — +6.20 billion UAH;
- Manufacturing of aircraft and spacecraft and related equipment — +5.74 billion UAH;
- Manufacturing of food products — +5.54 billion UAH;
- Manufacturing of finished metal products, excluding machinery and equipment — +4.94 billion UAH.
The growth in tax revenues in the manufacturing industry indicates an activation of production activities and a strengthening of Ukraine’s economic potential in 2025.
