SFS Launches Personalized Tax Support for Veteran Businesses

The State Tax Service of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, has presented a new service to support veteran entrepreneurship. The event took place in Kyiv with the participation of Lesia Karnaukh and Natalia Kalmykova.

This is reported by Finway

“The new service provides a comprehensive approach to interacting with veterans who are starting or already running their own businesses. It involves support at all stages of activity – from choosing a tax system to the ongoing operation of the enterprise.”

The service is aimed at veterans who plan to open or are already developing their own businesses. They will receive individual support from tax consultants who will assist at every stage – from registration to daily business operations. In particular, participants in the initiative can expect consultations on choosing a tax system, obtaining grants, clarifying tax procedures in an understandable form, and support in running their businesses.

Priority Service for Veterans

To facilitate access to tax services for veterans, a separate interaction procedure has been introduced. This includes the possibility of pre-registration without queues, the use of special communication channels, as well as priority service both online and in physical offices. It is expected that the service will soon operate in 20 regions of Ukraine.

Involvement of Veterans in Tax Work

As part of supporting the veteran community, the involvement of veterans in tax authorities is also being expanded. Currently, more than 150 individuals with service experience are already working within the SFS structure. They will be actively engaged in advisory activities to improve communication and understanding of the needs of veteran businesses.

The implementation of this service aims to create favorable conditions for business development among veterans, ease their adaptation to civilian life, and ensure the economic integration of this category of citizens.

It is also noted that Ukrainian veterans can once again apply for state assistance of 1,500 hryvnias for sports and rehabilitation activities. The automatic allocation of this targeted assistance for training in gyms, swimming pools, or sports sections has currently been canceled.
