On the night of Wednesday, February 4, severe frosts are expected to persist across Ukraine: air temperatures will range from -12 to -19 degrees, while in the northern and northeastern parts of the country, thermometers will drop to -15 to -22 degrees.

According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, noticeable changes in the weather are expected in Ukraine on Thursday, February 5. During the day, temperatures will be between -9 and -13 degrees, with some areas in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions expecting temperatures as low as -14 degrees. In the western regions, it will be significantly warmer — from -2 to -6 degrees, and in Transcarpathia, the air will warm up to +4 degrees.
On Wednesday, February 4, precipitation in the form of snow and wet snow will be observed in western Ukraine. Later, atmospheric fronts will bring precipitation to Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Odesa regions as well. No significant precipitation is expected in the rest of Ukraine on Wednesday.
Situation in Kyiv and Forecast for the Coming Days
In Kyiv on February 4, forecasters predict an increase in cloud cover and strengthening of the southeast wind with gusts of 10-12 meters per second. Light snow is likely in the evening. Overnight, temperatures in the capital will drop to -17 to -19 degrees, while during the day, the air will warm up to approximately -10 degrees.

Thus, in the coming days, Ukrainians should be prepared for a sharp drop in temperatures; however, from February 5, warming, an increase in precipitation, and strengthening winds are expected.
