In April 2025, Ukrainians and local businesses purchased 5,700 new passenger cars, which is 1.2% more compared to the same period last year. This figure also exceeds the results of March 2025 by 14.6%. This data was reported by the Institute for Market Research.

The majority of new passenger cars, specifically 96.9% or 5,570 units, were imported from abroad. Only 3.1% (179 cars) were produced in Ukraine.

Among the most popular manufacturers in April, the following can be highlighted:

Among individual models, similar to last year, the most frequently sold were the Renault Duster and Toyota RAV4. In the segment of new passenger cars manufactured in Ukraine, the leader in the first quarter was the Skoda Karoq crossover (93 units), produced at the Eurocar plant in Transcarpathia. The second place went to the Skoda Octavia (23 units), and third place to the Toyota RAV4 (9 units), which underwent re-equipment.
