Russian troops are trying to establish themselves in the center and north of Gryshyne

In the village of Gryshyne, part of the Pokrovsk agglomeration, the situation remains tense due to the intensification of hostilities. According to the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, defense units are effectively repelling attempts by the Russian Federation to establish a foothold both in the center of the settlement and in its northern territories.

Attacks and actions of the Ukrainian military

The command reports that the Russian army is increasing pressure on Gryshyne, seeking to advance within the settlement. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are resolutely preventing the occupiers from establishing themselves in the central part. In recent days, a successful operation was carried out to eliminate an enemy gathering point: defenders, having chosen the right moment, delivered an airstrike on the concentration of Russian troops.

“The enemy has intensified pressure on the settlement and is trying to advance. Ukrainian forces are not allowing the enemy to establish themselves in the central part of the village. Recently, the Defense Forces conducted an operation to destroy the enemy’s accumulation point. Waiting for a favorable moment, our warriors struck the concentration of Russians with an airstrike.”

The situation in the north and the region

According to military sources, Russian units continue to attempt to bypass Gryshyne, using open terrain and forest belts from the southwest direction to establish themselves in the northern and northwestern outskirts of the village.

Additionally, the enemy is increasing the concentration of infantry and equipment in the south of the nearly fully occupied Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region. Data released on April 15 indicates that these actions suggest preparations for further active operations in the region.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, noted that with the change in weather conditions, the Russian army has intensified offensive operations along the entire front line, which stretches for 1,200 kilometers. The most intense fighting during March took place in the Oleksandrivsk, Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman directions.
