On the night of August 28, the Russian Federation launched an attack on the critical infrastructure of the Vinnytsia region, resulting in extensive power supply disruptions. As a result of the strike, residents of 29 settlements were left without electricity — this affected approximately 60,000 consumers in total.

Emergency Response and Restoration of Power Supply
The First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, reported that all relevant services are currently working at the site of the incident. Emergency restoration work is being carried out to restore electricity to the residents of the region as quickly as possible.
“All relevant services are on site. Emergency restoration work is currently underway,” Zabolotna stated.
Power Supply Situation in the Region
Details regarding the facility that was targeted in the attack are not being disclosed. As of now, there is no information on the exact timeline for restoring power supply, but energy workers are already actively working to resolve the issue. Additionally, in the Vinnytsia region, as well as throughout Ukraine, no planned power outages have been implemented.
