During the past week, the State Property Fund of Ukraine organized seven successful online auctions for the privatization of state property, which allowed for the budget to be supplemented by 134.21 million UAH. The average increase in the value of lots was 175%, reflecting high investor interest in state assets. The most expensive privatization object during this period was the ‘Kyiv Automobile Repair Plant’, which was sold for 123.3 million UAH.

Record Privatization in August: ‘Enerhostal’ Sold for 600 Million UAH
This week, the State Property Fund announced the holding of ten privatization auctions. However, the sale of 100% of the shares of the ‘Titan Institute’ from Zaporizhzhia, with an initial price of 99.77 million UAH, did not take place due to a lack of bids from potential buyers. This institute specializes in carrying out a full range of research and design work in the field of rare earth metals.
“On August 12, the Fund sold 100% of the state enterprise ‘Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center for the Metallurgical Industry ‘Enerhostal’ (Kharkiv) to Sanders Loft for 600 million UAH (+120 million UAH VAT). The starting price was 10.47 million UAH.”
Results of State Property Leasing
In addition to privatization auctions, the leasing of state property in the last week contributed 252,945 UAH to the state budget. The total value of assets leased increased by 684% from the initial estimate. This week, 41 auctions for the leasing of state-owned properties are planned, which may provide additional revenue to the budget.
