Power Supply Restrictions for Industry on April 8 Will Apply Across Ukraine

On Wednesday, April 8, planned power restrictions will be implemented for industrial electricity consumers throughout Ukraine. This regime will be in effect during the morning hours from 07:00 to 10:00 and in the evening from 19:00 to 22:00.

This is reported by Finway

Reasons for Implementing Restrictions

The introduction of these restrictions is explained by the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks that the Russian Federation has recently carried out against Ukrainian energy facilities. Due to the destruction of energy infrastructure, it has become necessary to regulate the load on the grid to ensure the stability of the energy system.

“Tomorrow, April 8, in all regions of Ukraine from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00, power restriction schedules (for industrial consumers) will be applied,” the message states.

Monitoring and Changes to the Schedule

The company emphasized that the situation with energy supply may change depending on the operational situation. Regional energy companies will regularly inform about updates to the schedules and possible changes in the disconnection timetable on their official social media pages.

Additionally, as of the morning of April 7, due to adverse weather conditions, over 170 populated areas in nine regions of Ukraine were left without electricity. Furthermore, due to new attacks by Russian forces, power outages have been recorded in seven regions.
