Leaders Among Manufacturers and Popular Models

The vast majority of registered cars – 77,674 units – were imported, while 1,827 passenger cars had Ukrainian VIN codes. These vehicles were either partially assembled or modified at enterprises in Ukraine.

Among the manufacturers of new cars in the Ukrainian market, the Chinese company BYD took the lead in 2025. Among the models that were in the highest demand, experts highlight the BYD Song Plus, Zeekr 7X, as well as the electric car Volkswagen ID.Unyx. Well-known models such as the Renault Duster and Toyota RAV4 also remain at the top of the rankings, having maintained high positions among the preferences of Ukrainian consumers for several years.

Demand for Premium Cars and Ukrainian Production

In 2025, Ukrainians also actively purchased premium-class cars. In particular, the car fleet was supplemented by two Lamborghinis, eight Aston Martins, twenty Bentleys, twenty-six Rolls-Royces, thirty-two Maseratis, and 793 Porsches.

Of this number, 77,674 cars were imported, while 1,827 had VIN codes from Ukrainian enterprises that conducted partial assembly or modification of new passenger cars.

As for cars assembled in Ukraine, the leader was the Skoda Karoq crossover. In 2025, the “Eurocar” plant in Transcarpathia produced 938 such cars, which entered the overall ranking of new passenger cars.

Thus, the demand for new cars in Ukraine continues to grow, and the market is witnessing both active interest in imported models and the development of domestic automotive manufacturing.
