Objects of Investigative Actions and Reasons for the Searches
According to official information released by the press service of the State Tax Service, the searches were conducted simultaneously at the central office and the regional departments of the agency. Detectives paid particular attention to the departments in the Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv regions. The basis for conducting the investigative actions was a criminal proceeding that encompasses events that unfolded in 2024 and concluded in early 2025. The proceeding is related to the activities of high-risk enterprises.
Position of the State Tax Service and NABU’s Reaction
It is known that the leadership and employees of the State Tax Service fully support anti-corruption agencies and actively cooperate with law enforcement during the pre-trial investigation. The details of the criminal case and the progress of the investigation remain within the jurisdiction of law enforcement agencies. NABU refrained from commenting on the current state of the investigative actions.
