Who is BI Group and Why is Its Entry Important
BI Group is considered the largest construction company in Kazakhstan and is also among the top six largest private companies in the country. By the end of 2024, its revenue reached approximately $2 billion, and the company’s owners are listed among the wealthiest individuals in Kazakhstan. BI Group has shown interest in the Ukrainian market since 2018 and collaborated with the well-known Ukrainian developer DIM in 2023. However, the true entry into the Ukrainian market only occurred in 2025, following the acquisition of Watzenrode.
BI Group is a full-cycle player: from design and construction to sales and property management, making it competitive in any new market.
The Company’s Plans in Ukraine
BI Group has expressed its readiness to work in Ukraine as a general contractor for reconstruction projects, as well as a developer of residential real estate. In addition to residential construction, the company is exploring opportunities for investment in the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind and solar energy. This approach allows BI Group not only to create new facilities but also to implement modern energy solutions in Ukraine.
