In November 2025, Ukraine recorded a 0.4% increase in consumer prices for food compared to the previous month. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service, which indicates that price increases were observed in all regions of the country; however, the pace of this process varied significantly depending on the region.

Regional Differences in Price Growth Dynamics
The smallest increase in consumer prices in November was recorded in Sumy and Khmelnytskyi regions — only 0.1%. This indicates a relative stability in the price situation in these regions, despite the nationwide trend of rising prices for essential goods.
At the same time, the highest price growth was noted in Chernihiv and Poltava regions, where the figure reached 0.7%. This level is the highest among all regions of Ukraine in November 2025. Regions with a price increase of 0.6% included Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv regions, as well as Kyiv.
Annual Inflation and Interregional Disparities
In annual terms, the inflation rate in the country slowed down to 9.3% in November, demonstrating an overall trend towards reduced price pressure on consumers. However, the difference between regions remains significant: regions with the highest monthly price growth of 0.7% exceed the increase in regions with the lowest figures by seven times.
“The difference between regions remains substantial. Regions with the highest growth of +0.7% showed results that are seven times higher than the increase in regions with the lowest dynamics at +0.1%.”
Thus, November 2025 confirmed the persistence of regional disparities in price dynamics, despite the overall trend of slowing inflation in Ukraine.
