An ambitious infrastructure project is starting in the Koziatyn urban community in Vinnytsia Oblast — the creation of a modern industrial park is planned. The new facility will specialize in the production of technical alcohol, biofuel, and the processing of secondary raw materials into fuel pellets. This will enhance the energy independence of the region and the country as a whole.

A Powerful Industrial Cluster Near the Elevator
As reported by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Council, Vyacheslav Sokolov, during a working visit to the Koziatyn community, the industrial park will be located next to an already functioning elevator. The elevator itself became the first phase of a large-scale infrastructure project, and the new park will allow for the effective use of the existing logistics base and raw material resources.
“For Ukraine, the issue of energy independence is of strategic importance. That is why the development of biofuel production, technical alcohol, and raw material processing is extremely important,” Sokolov noted.
New Jobs and Economic Development
The Koziatyn community has already allocated a plot of land for the construction of the industrial park. It is expected that the launch of this project will create additional jobs, strengthen local budget revenues, and become a driver of economic growth in the area.
The secretary of the Koziatyn City Council, Iryna Repalo, emphasized that the elevator and the accompanying enterprise were built “from scratch” in a strategically advantageous location — near a key railway station and a highway. This location provides optimal logistics conditions for the development of the future industrial park.
After the completion of the second stage of the elevator’s construction under the USAID AGRO program, the next step is planned — the creation of an industrial park with processing capacities.
Currently, the elevator serves as a comprehensive industrial facility that provides a full range of services for the reception, analysis, drying, sorting, and storage of grain. This will serve as the foundation for the further launch of enterprises for the production of biofuel and technical alcohol, as well as the processing of raw materials into eco-friendly pellets.
