Advantages and Prospects of the New Industrial Park
‘Bukovina 1’ became the first facility to receive such status in 2026. The opening of the park will create approximately 250 new jobs and will also promote the development of small businesses in the region, positively impacting the economic situation in the Chernivtsi region.
‘This is the first facility to receive official status in 2026. The implementation of the project will create about 250 new jobs directly in the park and stimulate the development of related small businesses in the region,’ the statement reads.
The industrial park is located in the Kelmenets community of the Dnistrovskyi district. The initiator of its creation is LLC ‘MM AGRO’. The area of the territory is over 18 hectares, and the operational term of the park is set for 49 years.
Main Development Directions and Investments
The park plans to develop the following industrial directions:
- deep processing of agricultural products, including oil production, milling and grain production, starches, and ready-made animal feeds;
- food industry — processing of fruits and vegetables, production of natural juices;
- energy efficiency — implementation of alternative energy sources to meet production needs.
The total investment in the project is estimated at 698.3 million UAH. An important advantage of the new facility is its favorable logistical location: proximity to the railway hub and the state border with EU countries opens additional opportunities for export-oriented enterprises.
The ministry emphasizes that the park’s concept adheres to the principles of sustainable development and circular economy. The territory of ‘Bukovina 1’ plans to implement innovative technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact, as well as the use of modern energy-saving systems that comply with European standards for industrial zones.
