On Saturday, December 13, hourly electricity outage schedules will be implemented across Ukraine. The restrictions will last throughout the day – from midnight to 23:59.

Reasons for Electricity Supply Restrictions
The introduction of outage schedules has become a necessary measure due to the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Due to damage to energy facilities, it is currently impossible to ensure stable electricity supply throughout the country.
Features of the Schedules for Residential and Industrial Consumers
The outage schedules provide for hourly electricity disconnections for all categories of consumers – both residential and industrial. They will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59 without interruption.
NEK “Ukrenergo” is not publishing specific volumes of restrictions for consumers this time. It is noted that the situation is dynamic, so the schedule and duration of outages may change depending on the operational situation in the energy system.
“To find out the time and extent of outages at your address, check the official pages of the regional energy companies in your area,” the company advised.
For up-to-date information on possible changes to the schedules, Ukrainians are recommended to follow the announcements from local electricity network operators.
