In June 2025, there is an increase in gasoline prices at Ukrainian gas stations. Over the past week, the price of fuel has risen by 1.26 UAH, and as of June 20, the average cost of gasoline has reached 57.65 UAH per liter. These changes align with previously stated forecasts regarding the dynamics of the fuel market.

Reasons for the Increase in Gas Prices
As explained by Dmitry Lyoshkin, the founder of the “Prime” group, further price increases of up to 2 UAH per liter are possible in the coming days, which could lead to an overall increase of up to 3 UAH/l. According to him, at some large gas stations, the price of gasoline may exceed 62 UAH/l, but it is likely that further significant price hikes can be avoided.
Among the main factors restraining price increases, the expert cites the postponement of the mandatory bioethanol content in gasoline, as well as the easing of state policies regarding mini-oil refineries. The price increase, according to Lyoshkin, is related to a spike in wholesale market prices due to increased demand amid the conflict between Iran and Israel. At the same time, the expert emphasizes that this rise has no economic basis and will not last long.
“I think that after a while, the market will turn back,” he predicted.
Current Retail Prices at Gas Stations in Ukraine
As of June 26, 2025, large gas station networks are selling gasoline at an average of 58.91 UAH per liter, which corresponds to the level of the previous day. According to the “A-95” Consulting Group, retail prices for gasoline in Ukraine range from 54 to 61.99 UAH per liter, depending on the network.
- WOG, OKKO – 61.99 UAH/l
- Shell – 61.95 UAH/l
- SOCAR – 60.66 UAH/l
- Parallel – 60.16 UAH/l
- Ukr-Petrol – 54 UAH/l (the lowest price among large networks)
Thus, the gasoline market in Ukraine remains dynamic, and prices are influenced by external and internal factors.
