Details of the court ruling and ownership structure

The case was considered by a panel of judges consisting of Natalia Movchan, Kateryna Sikora, and Tetiana Lytvynko. According to anti-corruption authorities, the confiscated share consists of 25% of the factory’s shares with a nominal value of over 21 million hryvnias. These shares were registered under the company OW Capital Management, which is controlled by Hamzalov.

According to data from the YouControl platform, the main beneficiaries of ‘Kryukiv Wagon Works’ are the company’s president Volodymyr Prykhodko (34.37%), Natalia Prykhodko (34.37%), and Russian citizen Stanislav Hamzalov (25%). The ownership structure also includes Estonian, British, and Austrian companies.

Connections to the Russian military-industrial complex

It is known that companies controlled by Hamzalov supplied products to firms with direct ties to the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. It is noted that these companies regularly pay significant taxes to the Russian budget, which effectively contributes to the financing of armed aggression against Ukraine.

In particular, the Russian company JSC ‘ENA’, owned by Hamzalov, manufactures pumps for shipbuilding and nuclear energy. Among its clients are the manufacturer of nuclear submarines, Sevmash, as well as the companies ‘Northern Shipyard’ and ‘Admiralty Shipyards’, which are engaged in the construction of military vessels for the Russian Navy.

In 2022, it was established that ‘Kryukiv Wagon Works’ was purchasing components for wagon production from Russian companies linked to Hamzalov at inflated prices, even though cheaper Ukrainian alternatives were available on the market.

As part of the investigation, a seizure was placed on 25% of the factory’s shares, which were formally owned by the Austrian company Capital Management GmbH. These assets are now under the management of the National Agency for the Detection and Management of Assets (ARMA).
