US Military Operation: Details of the Blockade

According to Cooper, in less than 36 hours from the start of the operation, US military forces managed to fully suspend any economic activity related to maritime supplies to and from Iran. It is noted that no cargo ship was able to bypass the maritime blockade established by the US.

“In less than 36 hours from the start of the blockade, US forces completely halted economic trade entering and exiting Iran by sea.”

Consequences for Iranian Ports and International Trade

According to Admiral Cooper’s latest comments, in the first 24 hours after the blockade was established, no vessel leaving Iranian ports was able to pass through US patrols. Additionally, six commercial ships were forced to return to port after receiving appropriate instructions from US military forces.

The blockade, according to US command, has completely isolated the Iranian maritime trade sector, creating an unprecedented precedent in modern regional security history. Iranian authorities have so far refrained from making official comments regarding the situation.
