This year’s forum will be the successor to last year’s conference held at Westergas, which was a sell-out. Due to the increased number of participants, the organizers decided to move the event to a larger venue. SugarFactory is a modern exhibition complex created from a former sugar factory, located near the center of Amsterdam. It combines 19th-century industrial architecture with contemporary design, creating the perfect environment for discussing innovative financial technologies.
The organizers emphasize that Bitcoin Amsterdam 2025 will be a key international event for the European Bitcoin community, where discussions are expected on digital rights, privacy issues, cryptocurrency regulation, and the rise of corporate “Bitcoin treasuries” — a trend where companies hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets.
