Strategic Development of Pharmaceuticals in Ukraine

As noted by the head of the government, the first phase of the enterprise is scheduled to be put into operation in September. The pharmaceutical company will create 150 new jobs at the facility and ensure a full cycle of blood plasma processing directly on the territory of Ukraine. The construction of the main building of the factory and the raw material warehouse has already been completed, and production equipment has been installed.

The cost of the first phase of the project is estimated at 75 million euros, of which 67 million euros have been invested by the company from its own funds. Biopharma is already exporting its products to dozens of countries around the world and plans to expand its presence in the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Investments in Science and Education

Biopharma actively supports the development of biological education in Ukraine. The company has already organized two biological classes in Kyiv and opened two bio schools — in Kyiv and Bila Tserkva, where students receive ten hours of mathematics, chemistry, and biology free of charge each week. In the near future, there are plans to open another 25-30 bio schools in various cities across the country, including Uzhhorod, Lviv, and Dnipro.

“This is an example of a responsible Ukrainian investor who continues to invest in the country even during the war and creates high value-added production,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
