The Pension Fund of Ukraine has already transferred additional payments of 1500 UAH to 9.7 million pensioners. Of this number, 8 million individuals received funds in their bank accounts, while another 1.7 million received them through Ukrposhta. By the end of the week, the state will finance payments for another 1.6 million recipients of other social assistance.

Who is eligible for additional payments
A total of 13 million citizens will receive financial support of 1500 UAH. The payments are designated for elderly pensioners, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, internally displaced persons, large families, and single mothers. All these categories will receive funds by the end of April.
“The Pension Fund of Ukraine has already made payments for 9.7 million pensioners: for 8 million of them, the funds were transferred to bank accounts, and for 1.7 million, they are coming through Ukrposhta. Payments for another 1.6 million recipients of social assistance will be financed by the end of the week,” wrote Svyrydenko.
Funding for payments: sources and specifics
The payments are being made from funds saved in the first quarter of the current year after reviewing the internal resources of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity. The final amount to be paid was determined after clarifying the number of recipients and verifying data for budget programs.
Starting from April 1, a one-time cash assistance of 1500 UAH is being provided to the most vulnerable categories of the population to ensure support amid economic challenges and to cover urgent needs.
